The word from La Founder: Aurélie has one of these very mysterious jobs that are actually essential in the fashion industry. She takes care of models’ contracts, grow business opportunities, and makes campaigns and projects happen. Deeply rooted in Paris, typical Parisian girl, she is also very attached to Dubai, her second city. With Aurélie, we are closing 2018 and this first serie of makers portraits in style. Because I am thrilled to wish all the best to this girl, who has wonderful and exciting plans ahead for 2019!

A special feature about you:
Spontaneous and driven.
Your credo/mantra in life:
If you don’t take a chance, nothing happens.
Why you love your job/craft? Or why you have chosen this path?
Fashion has always been a passion. I studied law and wanted to combine my studies with my passion for fashion. I was also very drawn to public relations and the social aspect of some jobs. Every day is different, I never get bored.
A special project you loved doing:
My first campaign negotiated and confirmed when I joined Ford Models with Hermès Fragrances.
An anecdote you would like to share:
I was still a law student in Paris, my life changed the day I took the wrong door, thinking it was the law practice where I was supposed to start my internship in industrial property, on Avenue Marceau in Paris. I actually found myself at Karla Otto, the PR agency, and thanks to Carine Fauci who thought I was her new intern, I stayed. This mistaken door at Karla Otto made me realize what I wanted to do with my life. And I came back working for Karla Otto for fashion week in september 2009.
A special person/encounter, or a mentor/partner:
Carine Fauci at Karla Otto as I mentioned above, and Sabine Killinger my first boss at Elite Paris, who is my mentor and taught me everything.
Foam of the Daze, Boris Vian.
Favorite TV show:
Grey’s Anatomy, Stranger Things.
Favorite song/music artist to listen to for work:
For work or not, Gainsbourg and Jacques Brel.
Favorite song to dance to:
Grilled fish and mediterranean cuisine.
Diet coke, and champagne for the evening!
Favorite city, a place you love in that city:
My life is settled between Paris and Dubai, my favorite city will always remain Paris, where I grew up. A special place for me: Le Bon Marché
I have many favorite restaurants but the one special place where I love to be for family and childhood friends gatherings since I am a kid is located Avenue des Ternes, in the 17th district, where I grew up. An Italian restaurant, family style, called La Casa Di Sergio. In Dubai, I’ll say The Maine, Oyster bar and Grill.

A guilty pleasure:
Chocolate lava cake.
